SME Cyber Solutions were invited on the latest AI/Cyber Trade Mission to Poland by Cyber London in order to strengthen ties between the UK and Poland whilst sharing knowledge and taking part in discussions to tackle AI and cyber security challenges.
The most significant discussion took place at the Marshal’s Office. The meeting brought together UK companies and key Polish partners.
My main takeaway from this was a shift in focus, from the importance of teaching companies about security (which still remains vital) to making AI-based security tools easier to acquire and more affordable. This is vital for the SME sector, especially since these tools can automatically check and improve a business’s security level. This perfectly aligns with what we do at SME Cyber Solutions, providing simple, all-in-one software to small and medium businesses.
It was an inspiring exchange of ideas with both our Polish and British partners.

The mission also allowed some time to enjoy the cultural side of Katowice with a tour of the museum and the city itself.
Katowice is undergoing a major post-industrial transformation, shifting its identity from a centre of heavy industry to a thriving technology and AI hub.
A key element of this is the development of the Katowice Gaming and Technology Hub.
This project will create a state-of-the-art ecosystem for digital innovation, game development, and AI knowledge exchange.
Building on the city’s established reputation as an e-sports capital, hosting major events like the Intel Extreme Masters, the Hub is designed to attract tech companies, provide research laboratories, and cement Katowice as a leading regional centre for both digital technologies and the ethical, future-focused development of Artificial Intelligence.
